The purpose of giving Ayurvedic massage is very broad. It starts with a relaxation technique to release tension and increase vitality by removing excess toxins from the body. It not only works on the Physical body but also the subtle body.

It includes massage of marma point (vital points) which help in restoring the balance of constitution in the body and includes massage of chakara’s (energy centers) thereby increasing the flow of prana (life force) in YOU. The use of various oil combinations help to enter deep in the tissues and liberate toxins. It can be combined with shirodhara.

It includes massage of the feet. Feet are very important part in our body, as many nerves from many organs terminate in the feet. So massage helps to strengthen these nerves and restores health to many parts of the body. The marma (vital) points are massaged which gives balance to your dosha and is very helpful for people with insomnia, fatigue and cramps. This treatment can be combined with Shiroabhyanga.

The base oil and essential oils used in the above massage are carefully blended based on the body type of each person. These treatments are tailored according to your body constitution (dosha) after analysis.

It includes pouring of warm oil on the head. Then massaging the head neck and forehead considering the marma (vital) points, giving relaxation to the head which helps in releasing the stress and knots from shoulder and neck region.
