The treatment provides 30 minutes back, neck, shoulder and scalp massage that leaves you feeling refreshed and less stressed.

For specific concerns or deeper tissue massages, please choose either a remedial or ayurvedic massage.

This treatment begins with a hot towel compress on your feet, continues with a tailored massage using relaxing warmed oils.

The most Swedish massage is the most common type of massage that aims to increase the flow of oxygen in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.

The five common movements are:
- effleurage (for relaxation and warming of the muscles)
- kneading of individual muscles
- friction
- hacking
- vibration

This ancient Indian therapeutic massage is a holistic approach to therapy. The treatment starts with a relaxation technique to release tension and increase vitality by removing excess toxins from the body.

It includes massage of marma points (vital points) which helps in the restoration of the body's natural balance and constitution.

The treatment also includes massage of the chakaras (energy centers) thereby increasing the flow of prana (life force) in the body.

The combination of specially chosen oils for your body will aid in removal of toxins by entering the deep tissues.

This treatment can be combined with an Ayuredic Shirodhara treatment (warming of warm oil - see below).

Treatment through essential oils massage

Aromatherapy massage treatment using up to 5 highly concentrated essential oils specifically chosen depending on your concerns.

This form of massage is suitable to improving conditions relating to stress or other emotionally-related conditions.

Essential oils are used to stimulate and relax the body, aid in digestion and can have diuretic properties.

This massage and oil treatment concentrates on both the mind and body.

It restores balance to your life force (prana) by removing toxins and provides complete relaxation.

Then, warm oil is used to massage your entire body including marma (vital) points and chakras (energy centres).

Once your body has reached the balanced state, warm oils are then poured on the forehead (third eye) providing extreme relaxation, treating any head or neck concerns you may have, such as insomnia and headaches.

Shirodhara also provides strength to the nervous system and helps to remove toxins. This treatment releases tension and is excellent for people with chronic stress related problems.

Indian Foot Massage - Reflexology

The feet are integral to our bodies as many of the nerves from our internal organs end in the feet.

Therefore, massaging them helps to sooth and strengthen these nerves thereby restoring health.

The marma (vital) points are massaged restoring balance to your consitution (doasha) and is helpful for insomnia, fatigue and cramps.

The combination of specially chosen base and essential oils for your body type will aid in removal of toxins by entering the deep tissues.

Specifically chosen warm oils are massaged on to the scalp, neck and forehead and concentrates on the marma (vital) points. Stress from the neck and shoulders are released providing total relaxation.
